Sunday Morning
When we went to the Empty Tomb Church, I was just expecting a normal service like last time I was there. But this time it was a lady that came up and spoke for the second half of the service. She spoke on repenting, changing your life for God, and the truth about today’s times. She was so motivating to me and the truth behind her words really impacted me.

Saturday Evening
While helping at the food pantry I was chatting with a volunteer. I asked what group she was with. She gave me a strange look and said, “I’m here for the food, aren’t you?” It was then it hit me, she could have lived in my neighborhood. How many people do I daily interact with that are hungry and hurting and I didn’t notice. God really opened my eyes.

Friday Evening
When we were at Angels on Wheels, praying at the very end, I felt that when we prayed we were praying to someone next to us and very close and not far away. That’s only happened once before in my life.

Friday Evening
The Angels on Wheels really impacted me because I saw how those people of God were suffering and how bad they felt. I realized that so many people have less than half of what I have. That they really need to be prayed for and touched through God’s hands.

I saw how God transforms lives that we may see as broken beyond repair or irrepairable- God sees them as part of his perfect plan.
