Christ for the City Int’l
Christ for the City is an evangelical protestant international mission organization with missionaries in 14 locations in Latin America, Spain, Mali, Africa and America. Over 75% of our missionaries are nationals ministering in their own countries and communities. Since the needs of each community and country are different, our missionaries are encouraged to match their ministries to the specific needs they see in their communities. This means that Christ For the City works in a very grassroots, organic way. We don’t have one ministry strategy we use in every country we work in. Our ministries in Mexico look much different than our ministries in Costa Rica or El Salvador because each location is experiencing different problems and different needs. Among the many ministries created by CFCI there are orphanages, a drug rehabilitation center, church support and training, feeding programs in slums, sports ministries, and Urban Plunge, just to name a few.
