Urban Plunge
Urban Plunge is a unique weekend mission trip experience in the inner city that will change your life. Choose to serve in one of six different cities: Omaha, NE; Lincoln, NE; Sioux Falls, SD; Grand Rapids, MI; Des Moines, IA; and Kansas City, MO. You’ll go to nine different ministries in one weekend that will thrust you into inner city life. You’ll feed the hungry… pray for needy… and talk with the homeless. You’ll keep a faith journal to chronicle your thoughts and experiences of each ministry visit.
You’ll be challenged to “find out where God is working and join him there.” Our devotions are not about the poor, but rather about discovering what your purpose is and what your passions and gifts are. But it doesn’t stop there… we want to help you focus on how you can use your purpose, your passions, and your gifts back home.
